About Me
Hi! I’m Kate Smith, a dedicated educator with 23 years of teaching experience. I’ve spent the last 5 years in Comal ISD, and before that, I taught for 17 years in Northeast ISD. I’m a proud graduate of Southwest Texas State University and a lifelong Texan. Outside the classroom, I’m a mom to two amazing kids—my daughter is a senior at Smithson Valley High School, and my son is in 4th grade at Bill Brown Elementary. Teaching is my passion, and I love helping students grow and succeed every day.
