About Me

Hello!

My name is Mrs. Gueldner, and I have THE best job on campus teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade AVID! This year is my 12th year in education. My background includes teaching high school English and working as an Instructional Coach.  Transitioning to middle school AVID has been such a joy—I love helping my students grow, find their voice, and blossom into confident young adults!

I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in English Education from the University of Texas at San Antonio and my Master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction from Texas Tech University. I am also a Teacher Consultant for the National Writing Project! 

Outside the classroom, you’ll usually find me enjoying time with my family—my husband and our sweet, but wild 18-month-old, Jase.
